Hold Joint Tax Provision Bootcamp

conference presentationThis past November, the Dallas and Fort Worth chapters held a joint-chapter Tax Provision Bootcamp at Las Colinas Country Club in Irving, Texas, which is midway between Dallas and Fort Worth. The PricewaterhouseCoopers-sponsored event brought in 150 TEI members. Practitioners in PwC’s Dallas office coordinated the event. The program included educational sessions on ASC740 and more advanced sessions on intraperiod allocations and business combinations. The attendees also enjoyed many opportunities to network with their TEI member colleagues. The Dallas and Fort Worth chapters are the two closest geographically of any TEI chapters and plan to hold more joint chapter educational programs in the future. The attendees considered the event enjoyable and educational and look forward to future events.
