TEI welcomed more than 170 attendees, 137 speakers, and twenty-eight technology exhibitors to beautiful Renton, Washington, this past month for three full days of sessions, networking, and hands-on learning.
This year’s seminar featured nearly forty sessions covering a wide array of tax technology topics, including artificial intelligence in tax, digital transformation of tax administration, and real tax automation use cases. Attendees had the opportunity to deepen their expertise and stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving field.
A standout addition to the program was the Automation Challenge—a dynamic, interactive feature designed to showcase innovative automation solutions and encourage discovery through real-time problem-solving. Congratulations to this year’s winners, in order: Ádám Ladányi of ESAB Corporation, Dan Curran of Ingram Industries, Alex Roddy of Fresenius Medical Care North America, and Yin Pan of Visa. Their creative and impressive solutions exemplified the power of automation in transforming tax processes.
Also new this year was the Discovery Station, offering exhibitors a unique platform to provide hands-on, personalized demonstrations of their products in an up-close setting.
A special thanks to this year’s planning committee, including TEI Tax Technology Committee Chair Cheria Coram, Belinda Buvens, Jess Ponzo, Kyle Fox, and Vikesh Patel, for designing this special event and ensuring that it reflected and met the needs of in-house tax professionals. We could not have done this without you, and we are grateful for your time and passion.
