Much like Deloitte’s 2024 survey, the firm’s 2025 Global Tax Policy Survey showed that transparency, reporting, and digitization remain top of mind for tax leaders around the world. In addition, sustainability has reportedly risen to a higher priority than international tax reform has, despite ongoing Pillar Two implementation and the tariff shake-up from the United States. Although the survey’s executive summary recognizes that 2025 will be a year of “significant change and uncertainty,” it also notes “many areas of stability and continuity where established global tax policy processes continue to evolve.”
Below are a handful of key findings from the survey. To access the full survey report, visit www.deloitte.com/content/dam/assets-shared/docs/services/tax/2025/dttl-global-tax-policy-survey-full-report-april-2025.pdf.
