

The TEI EMEA Chapter met at PwC’s offices in Lausanne, Switzerland, November 13–14, to celebrate its twenty-fifth anniversary and hold its fall meeting.
The event began with an EMEA Chapter board meeting that welcomed several past chapter presidents. On Thursday, November 13, the chapter hosted its member day, which featured updates regarding the chapter’s advocacy efforts and a series of member roundtables on various direct and indirect tax matters. Chapter President Gaia Fraschetti also led an inspiring presentation on the EMEA Chapter’s history and honored the chapter’s past presidents. That evening, PwC hosted a festive dinner featuring traditional Swiss raclette.
Friday’s presentations were led by the knowledgeable PwC team, including thought-provoking discussions regarding tariffs, tax technology, AI-driven transformation, and other topics addressing how to tackle taxes in turbulent times.
The EMEA Chapter’s spring meeting will take place in Munich, Germany, April 23–24.
