On May 20–22, TEI Regions 4 and 5 returned to Sawmill Creek Resort in Sandusky, Ohio, for their second joint regional conference.
Building on the success of the inaugural event in 2025, attendance increased as members gathered for continuing professional education sessions covering a broad range of timely tax topics. Twenty-one sponsors participated in the conference, supporting the educational programming and networking opportunities.
The conference once again featured a Wednesday afternoon golf outing. New this year was a buffet dinner and casino night at the resort, which quickly became a favorite among attendees. Participants and sponsors also enjoyed an evening at nearby Cedar Point amusement park, continuing what promises to be one of the event’s most popular traditions.
Many thanks to TEI members Scott Tincher, Brian Kaufman, Victoria Gallert, John Clayton, and Linda Kim for their leadership and support, as well as volunteers Halle Tincher, Jeannie Lawson, and Ashley Turner for helping make the conference a success.
Planning is already underway for next year’s conference, which is expected to take place in June and continue to bring together members from Regions 4 and 5 for education, networking, and collaboration.
